The Tea for Tomorrow Advent calendar is the result of PAPER & TEA's deeply rooted vision. Every detail of the calendar has been carefully considered and designed to minimize environmental impact.

The outer box is made from our innovative tea paper, being used for the first time. It contains a portion of dried tea leaves, repurposed into the production cycle. This groundbreaking paper was developed in collaboration with the Gmund Greenfibra Lab.

We’re proud to announce that our innovative tea paper and its use in our Tea for Tomorrow Advent calendar have earned us the GMUND award 2024 in the “Green Innovation” category! This award celebrates outstanding eco-friendly concepts that address the question: “How can paper products be made more sustainable?” Our dedication to sustainable solutions and creative implementation won over the jury, and we’re thrilled to receive this prestigious recognition!

The Tea for Tomorrow Advent calendar also features 8 tea-infused chocolates, created by PAPER & TEA in collaboration with the chocolate pioneers at Original Beans. These refined tea chocolates are perfect for a relaxing evening break or as an extra treat paired with a cup of tea – creating a truly rounded flavor experience for the Advent season.

Because we can achieve more together, our chocolates are made in partnership with Original Beans, who are committed to fair trade and regenerative agriculture.
For packaging components like folding boxes and labels, we use Gmund Colors matte paper, certified Cradle to Cradle Certified® Silver. This careful material selection highlights PAPER & TEA’s commitment to eco-friendly green packaging from Gmund Papier, a German company specializing in sustainable paper production.
The packaging is assembled at the Augustinum Workshops, part of the Augustinum Group, which supports people with disabilities by providing employment in well-equipped workspaces.
Social Projects
New career opportunities for local workers, expanded protection for the brown-throated sloth in the rainforest, and family-friendly work contracts for mothers – these are just a few examples of the social projects highlighted on the tea packaging, supporting both people and wildlife in ways as diverse as nature itself.
